On April 2, 2025, at 7 PM ET, a coalition of LGBTQ+ leaders and organizations will host a crucial conversation titled Beyond Visibility: The Power of Love in Defending Transgender Lives. This ecumenical webinar will explore how faith communities can move beyond recognition and into meaningful action in the fight for trans liberation.
Transgender Day of Visibility is an important time to celebrate trans lives, but visibility alone is not enough. As transgender people continue to face increasing attacks in legislative, religious, and cultural spaces, the need for action has never been more urgent. Love must be more than a sentiment—it must be a tool for justice.
This conversation brings together transgender faith leaders, activists, and allies/accomplices to discuss:
- The role of faith in trans liberation
- How churches and communities can offer meaningful support
- Love as an active force in the fight for trans rights
