ReconcilingWorks is proud to announce our newest Reconciling in Christ congregation, Saint Mark Lutheran Church in Dunedin, Florida.
St. Mark is a congregation that consists of about 450 members from all walks of life who participate fully in the daily functioning of the church. The members range in age from the very young to much older congregants with familiy units taking a wide variety of structures.
St. Mark’s vote to become an RIC congregation displays the love that its members show for each other and the world. According to St. Mark, “The congregation is welcoming to all who want to participate in a community that honors God and be of service to people regardless of age, faith, ethnic background, gender identity, educational background, economic condition, or sexual orientation. St. Mark recognizes that each person is a unique creation of God and by the grace of God is called a “child of God.” Gathered around Word and water, bread and wine, we spread God’s Word by living our faith daily and welcoming all with open hearts and minds.”
