ReconcilingWorks is proud to announce our newest Reconciling in Christ setting, Lutheran Campus Ministry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
LCM at Indiana U. of PA’s board of directors met last fall to discuss its designation as an RIC setting. “The Lutheran Campus Ministry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a spiritual community that celebrates the gifts of God that empower us to engage in the struggles of life, to care for all, and to serve Christ where we work and live,” a portion of the welcome statement states. “The Lutheran Campus Ministry at IUP commits to being a Reconciling in Christ ministry.”
The Rev. Tedd Cogar is the pastor of LCM at Indiana U. of PA Pastor Cogar also serves as the university’s LGBTQIA Advocate working closely with the Pride Alliance and the University LGBT Commission. He also is a Recognized Campus Minister with the InterFaith Council.
Worship, led by Pastor Cogar and weekly visiting pastors, combines traditional Lutheran liturgy and hymns with contemporary worship music including folk and gospel elements.
