Will you be at the 2016 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Churchwide Assembly? If you will be, let’s make sure to connect! Below is a survey letting you know where ReconcilingWorks will be, and we want to know if you’ll be able to join us.
After the tragedy in Orlando folks have been scooping up all of our resources. Traffic on the ReconcilingWorks webpage has tripled, and people are more committed than ever to make sure LGTBQ folks have a place in the church. This means Churchwide is going to be an important time to get the word out about ReconcilingWorks.
There is a large demand for resources among the 4,000 to 5,000 attendees at ELCA Churchwide and you can make those resources available!
Here are two of the most popular items attendees will be hoping to have in hand. You can make a HUGE difference and share the life-saving news of welcome, inclusion, and celebration for LGBTQ people in the Lutheran Church:
$50 – will create 100 buttons so people visibly show support for LGBTQ people at assembly.- $90 – will print 30 “Introduction to our LGBTQ Neighbors” booklets. These booklets are hard to keep in stock with how popular they are among individuals and congregations.
Even if you can’t make it to Churchwide, you can be present through your sponsorship. You’ll be proud to see pictures and videos with people wearing the button you made and reading the booklet!
