ReconcilingWorks is proud to present our newest RIC community: Luther Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church in Delavan, WI!
Their welcome statement reads: “As we at Luther Memorial journey toward reconciliation, we proclaim this statement of welcome to all. Recognizing that there are differences among us, we believe that we can love alike even though we may not think alike. This love comes from God to us through scripture and sacrament. The gospels remind us that Jesus embraced those persons who were excluded by others. The New Testament letters also remind us that in baptism each person is uniquely made and gifted as part of the body of Christ. The communion table is the sustenance of the church body, broken and poured out every week for all. So in Scripture, Baptism, Holy Communion, and in all functions of this church body, we are a congregation that is Reconciling in Christ. Our welcome extends to people of all ages, all ethnic groups, all races, all sexual orientations, all gender identities and expressions, all abilities and disabilities, all social and economic classes, and to all we have failed to mention here. We are living into this welcome as we share the journey of a loving, meaningful relationship with Jesus. You are a child of God; you are welcome.”
Join them for worship on Sundays at 9:00 am, or visit them online at http://www.luther-memorial.org/
