What We Believe
We believe we are created to be in relationship with God, self, and others.
We believe things like addiction, trauma, hurts, abuse, loneliness and even our own human nature harm those relationships.
We believe addiction is a disease, not a moral failing.
We believe people can be addicted to many things: drugs, alcohol, control, caretaking, perfection, work, sex, food, anger, victimhood, etc.
We believe God loves us exactly as we are and is always with us, especially in our struggles.
We believe there is nothing we can do to make God love us more and nothing we can do to make God love us less.
We believe recovery is a process by which we can heal and repair our relationships with God, ourselves, and others.
We believe we find hope, healing, and growth in community with God and others.
We believe that the 12 steps are a pattern of living that draws us closer to God.
We believe Jesus gives us a great example of how to live.

How We Practice What We Believe
We welcome everyone, exactly as they are because we are beloved children of God.
We commit to creating a safe community because that is necessary for healing and growth.
We strive to promote social justice and racial equity in all we do.
We sing together, share together, pray together, and eat together because belonging leads to believing.
We share our stories because that’s how we get honest about the things that separate us from God and others.
We try to live like Jesus lived because he showed us how to love God, others, and self.
