“Who is welcome at St. Stephen Lutheran Church? We welcome all who are seeking God’s love and grace. It matters not if you: are Asian, Hispanic, Indigenous, Black or White, male or female… are three days old, 30 years old, or 103 years old… are uneducated, educated, or highly educated or over-educated… make six-figures, or are able to pay your bills, or overwhelmed with debt… never stepped foot in a church; are Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, agnostic, or a lifelong Lutheran… dress as though you are coming from work or from the gym… are single, married, divorced, separated, or partnered… are straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender… are a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Socialist, any other political party, or not registered to vote… have, or had, addictions, phobias, regrets, or a criminal record… struggle with dementia or memory loss… live in your home or with your parents, in supportive care, rent, or are homeless… are a refugee, citizen, immigrant, documented or undocumented… are fully-abled, disabled or a person of differing abilities… It matters not… You are welcome at St. Stephen Lutheran Church!
